Tuition Reimbursement from AT&T

AT&T employees are eligible for preferred tuition through the truED Alliance.

Students are responsible for payment of their courses; AT&T reimburses managers for tuition following course completion, AT&T employees who are not managers should speak with their supervisor or check the HR OneStop tuition page for information regarding their reimbursement eligibility.

Champlain College will bill students, regardless of reimbursement eligibility, before the start of the semester and students have the option to pay in full or in monthly installments. The standard Champlain College refund policy applies to badge programs as well as degree and certificate programs.

*The tuition benefits outlined on this webpage reflect Champlain College Online's current understanding of your organization's tuition benefits and eligibility to participate in them. Benefits and eligibility are subject to change at any time, and should be confirmed with your organization's tuition benefits management team.

As of February 12, 2021 we will no longer accept new students into the AT&T Badge programs. AT&T has decided to sunset this program. Students who apply by February 12, or who are already enrolled in a badge, will be allowed to complete their courses and earn the appropriate badge. The badges will continue to be a recognized achievement by AT&T.

Created to meet the cybersecurity needs of AT&T, the badges are an internal credential developed specifically for AT&T, through collaboration between AT&T security professionals and the Champlain College Online cybersecurity program experts. While the badges are available only to AT&T employees. They contain select courses from our Cybersecurity bachelor's degree and certificate program; they are rigorous and there will be students in the classes who do not work for AT&T. If you decide to continue on from the badge to the Champlain College Online Cybersecurity certificate or bachelor's degree the courses will transfer seamlessly.

Note: We recommend you check your tuition reimbursement eligibility by visiting the HR OneStop tuition page before enrolling in any badge, degree or certificate program. You can also visit the "Paying For A Badge, Certificate or Degree" section on this page for more information.

AT&T Cybersecurity Fundamentals Badge

AT&T employees will earn the AT&T Cybersecurity Fundamentals badge after successfully completing two courses: (CYBR 210 Foundations of Cybersecurity and CYBR 240 Networking & Security).

Pre-requisites include: CMIT-130, CMIT-135, and NETW-215

Courses in the Cybersecurity Badge programs require certain prerequisite knowledge and must be demonstrated via review by the Champlain College Online Cybersecurity Program Chair. This includes consideration of prior work history via résumé, related industry certifications, and more. AT&T employees who do not demonstrate mastery of prerequisite course content must complete the additional courses prior to taking the required courses.

AT&T Cybersecurity Advanced Badge

AT&T employees will earn the AT&T Cybersecurity Advanced badge after successfully completing four courses: (CYBR 310 Mobile Security,  CYBR 335 Ethical Hacking,  CYBR 410 Emerging Threats and Defenses, and  CYBR 420 Policy Analysis & Implementation).

Pre-requisites include:  CYBR 210

NOTE: Because CYBR 210 is a required prerequisite, students applying for the Advanced Badge should know they are only one course away (CYBR 240) from earning the Gold Badge, and may want to apply for that program instead.
