Champlain College Online Forms New truED Partnership with The Defense Acquisition University

Champlain College Online (CCO) is excited to announce a new truED partnership with The Defense Acquisition University (DAU), a corporate university of the United States Department of Defense. DAU is committed to delivering continuous learning and professional support tailored to the needs of its Defense Acquisition workforce. By forming a partnership with Champlain through its truED Program, DAU employees, members, and their qualifying relatives are now eligible to enroll in any of the College’s 60+ regionally accredited, 100% online degree and certificate programs, all at a reduced tuition rate.

"DAU fosters an environment of innovation and collaboration across the acquisition community and beyond," DAU president Jim Woolsey said. "We connect people, ideas, and information across the government, industry, and academia to ensure our military has the capabilities needed to outmatch our adversaries."

CCO consistently ranks among the best online schools delivering cybersecurity and computer forensics education. Since 2006, Champlain has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the U.S. National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Champlain is also designated as a National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence by the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Air Force Office of Special Investigations - the fifth college in the nation, and the only private college in the country, to receive this distinction. Given Champlain’s extensive reputation as a nationally recognized leader in cybersecurity and computer forensics education, the College is uniquely positioned to train DAU’s workforce through its cutting-edge degrees and certificates with virtual hands-on learning applications baked into its curriculums.

“Our partnership with DAU marks an important expansion in Champlain’s ongoing relationship with the U.S. Federal Government and its associated organizations. We’re thrilled to welcome DAU’s community into our online classrooms,” said Johnna Herrick-Phelps, Vice President of Online Learning at Champlain College. “Partnering with DAU is a mutually beneficial relationship wherein CCO students will now be able to network with new career-minded and experienced Federal professionals in their online classrooms, and DAU’s workforce will qualify for our preferred tuition for our state-of-the-art programs across fields like cybersecurity, IT, business, and more.”

Together, CCO and DAU form a promising partnership that will provide the defense acquisition community with access to some of today’s most career-focused, accelerated, and top-quality curriculums available to working adults, at one of the top private online colleges in the country.
