Who Do I Talk To About...?
The resources listed here are intended to provide self-help support for students experiencing mental health challenges. For more urgent support, CCO students can access Champlain's On-Call Counselor 24/7 at (802) 865-5745.
In crisis situations, the following national support lines are available 24/7: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988 & Crisis Text Line: Text "HOME" to 741741.
CCO Academic Advisors are here to help students connect to college resources and provide academic support options as needed.
Students can use this form to update their academic record information (ie: name, address, phone number). At Champlain College Online, our policy is to ask students to confirm the state in which they are located at the time of their enrollment, and if they move while enrolled in a program, to ask students to notify us of a change of state with 30 days. A student's location may be different from their state of residence. Location information is required in order to be compliant with federal distance learning regulations.

If you have a documented disability that could substantially limit your ability to be successful in the online classroom, you may request reasonable academic accommodations.
Once a student has been admitted to Champlain College, the following guidelines will assist in making a smooth transition into the College:
- Submit current, comprehensive, objective, professional documentation of your disability to the Office of Accessibility.
- A staff member will contact the student before the start of the semester to schedule an appointment for discussion of; the academic accommodations process, learning needs and supporting documentation, and appropriate and reasonable academic accommodations.
- Once registered with the Office of Accessibility, it is the responsibility of the student to contact the office at the start of each semester to request that their academic accommodations be enacted.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the student's responsibility to arrange for certain provisions which are outside the scope of the Office of Accessibility and the College. These provisions include, but may not be limited to: attendant care, mobility training, items/services of a personal nature and sources of financial aid. The Office of Accessibility is available to consult with a student regarding needs and possible local resources.
Discounts for college students are available at many places and we want you to be able to take advantage of them! To receive a Champlain College Student Identification Card follow the instructions on this page and choose the "Instructions for Online Students" box.
