Transfer Pathways Binder
The Transfer Pathways Binder is a document that shows the transfer equivalencies for the CCV to CCO programs. There is a page for the General Education (Gen Ed) breakdown, and separate pages for multiple CCV AS to CCO bachelor's degree programs. This document, however, is not exhaustive and there may be other pathways unique to other CCV programs that we at CCO have not evaluated. We would be happy to evaluate any pathways a CCV student would like to explore for CCO.
- The Gen Ed Map tab shows the CCV→CCO general education alignment and transfer guidance. CCO's Gen. Ed. curriculum now aligns with AS degree requirements for 30-33 credits mapping and through the Vermont Transfer Guarantee, CCO accepts all CCV general education requirements as a block for CCV graduates.
- Commonly pursued 2+2 program pathways are mapped on their own tab so advisors and transfer specialists at both schools can look up a program pair and plan how credits may transfer. *Grade requirements and time limits determined by CCO transfer policies.
- For advisors with students who want a campus-based program (NOT online) we have options for them as well!

Preferred Tuition & Ways to Pay
Students who come from CCV to Champlain College Online with an associate degree automatically qualify for a preferred tuition rate. This is a significant reduction from the standard CCO tuition.

Champlain College Online offers students several ways to pay, including Federal Financial Aid and payment plans.
General Education transfers as a block under the Vermont Transfer Guarantee. This map, linked here, shows the "behind the scenes" of the block and the structure of the CCO requirements. The CCO bachelor's programs require 42 general education credits. CCO's Gen Ed curriculum now aligns with AS degree requirements for 30-33 credits mapping and through the Vermont Transfer Guarantee, CCO accepts all CCV general education requirements as a block for CCV graduates.

Following are the top CCO programs CCV students choose to enroll in, and the pathways that line up to those programs. There are over 20 pathways established, the programs here are the most popular. For those interested in an on-campus/physical experience, Champlain announced a college-wide "Flex 30" model launching Fall 2026 for all four-year degrees, giving every student "a full year's worth" (30 credits) of flexible/elective credit. Eligible CCO students can use elective space in a bachelor’s degree to take up to 9 graduate credits as part of their undergraduate program—including completing a 9 credit graduate certificate alongside the BS degree. Interested and eligible students should talk to their Success Advisor to plan accordingly.
