Champlain College is pleased to announce that it has been named one of the Best 390 Colleges and Best Regional Colleges by The Princeton Review for 2025. These annual rankings are based on comprehensive surveys and feedback from current students and showcase our commitment to academic excellence and student experience.

"It's a privilege to be included in The Princeton Review's ‘Top Colleges’ list year after year, and we are humbled by the success of our students who continue to place Champlain in such good company,” says Champlain College President Alex Hernandez. “There's no better place than Champlain to get a career-focused education that simultaneously builds your skills and knowledge, your resume, and your understanding of the world—and your impact on it—all at the same time."

Why Champlain College is Making a Difference

Our innovative programs are market-driven and designed to address industry needs employers are looking for today and in the future. We are always looking ahead: We were one of the first schools to offer degrees in game 20 years ago; one of the first schools to offer fully accredited online academic degrees and certificates for flexible learning more than 30 years ago; and one of the first schools to launch an on-campus experience-based center for cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Our dedicated faculty and vibrant community—both on campus and online—are critical factors in earning these accolades. Whether it’s our career-focused curriculum, flexible learning options, or the beautiful Burlington campus, Champlain College continues to offer an exceptional experience for all students.

What's Next at Champlain

As we celebrate this recognition, we are setting ambitious goals to make Champlain College a top-tier school for cybersecurity and digital forensics, technology and design, and entrepreneurship and social innovation. To that end, we are pleased to see students occupy the new technology-enhanced learning spaces and modernized science labs this semester as part of the recent Joyce and Freeman Hall renovations. Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome our partners at NuHarbor Security to our Lakeside Campus next year, bringing students unprecedented access to internships, mentors, hands-on learning, and scholarships.

Sarah McMaster, Executive Director of Marketing & Enrollment Management at Champlain College Online, shared her enthusiasm about the accolades: “This recognition reflects Champlain's unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, flexible education that empowers students to achieve their personal and professional goals. To that end, Champlain College Online is launching eight new career-aligned programs in Spring 2025 for modern learners at all career stages to become leaders and innovators in their fields.”

Our commitment to academic excellence remains unwavering and ever-growing as we introduce new undergraduate programs, including degrees in Digital Humanities and Interactive Narratives for Games & Digital Media. Our online presence and reputation continue to expand as we roll out new online master's programs in Accounting, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, and more. It is our mission to prepare students who are ready for work, ready for life, and ready to make a difference through their experience at Champlain College.
