We are keenly aware of the burden student debt places not only on individuals, but on our society. At Champlain College Online, we are constantly exploring strategies that minimize the need for student loans, maximize student transfer credits, and help ensure retention and degree completion. We are proud of the fact that a growing majority of our students do not pay the full cost of a degree or certificate, and many of our students are able to convert their prior work experience and training into transfer credit that reduces their time in school and tuition they pay, and gets them to completion more quickly.
While knowledge for knowledge's sake is valuable on its own, research tells us that the completion of a degree or certificate has the power to produce measurable, life-changing career outcomes for students.
