Cybersecurity Post-Pandemic: How Professionals Can Pivot and Stay Resilient

When the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, the shift to remote work required cybersecurity professionals to pivot operations so that workers accessing their data from home were secured and protected. Yet, as we look ahead to a time when the pandemic is behind us, many workers will inevitably head back to the office, while others may continue to work remotely indefinitely. This blended use of technology will require professionals to pivot once again to secure and protect sensitive data being accessed from many locations.

Champlain College Online program directors Kathleen Hyde, MBA, MSCIS and Sérgio Tenreiro de Magalhães, PhD, and Chad Johnson from Fidelity held this panel discussion on the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics, sharing what they believe to be the "new normal" will look like and how data loss prevention strategies will become increasingly important moving forward to thwart cyber threats.
