Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG)
Students from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) looking to continue their education beyond an associate degree have a virtual community waiting for them at Champlain College Online. Through our collaborative and personalized approach, we support students as they pursue bachelor’s degrees and undoubtedly exceed their educational and professional goals.
Providing virtual resources for students seeking affordable, accessible, and supportive online college experiences is at the center of everything we do at Champlain College Online. In order to share the resources available with more students, TCSG associate degree seekers in good academic standing are guaranteed admission into eligible bachelor’s degree programs and are paired with a Champlain College Online advisor who will:
- Provide 1:1 guidance through the transfer credit and course planning process in close collaboration with TCSG colleges
- Ensure the most efficient and cost effective pathways are identified to reduce time to completion and student debt
- Facilitate Champlain’s signature appreciative advising model to partner with students to understand their strengths and how they can be utilized and built upon during their studies and beyond in their careers
- Help students build connections and community making for a successful academic and cultural transition
Who is Eligible?
- Students graduating from a TCSG college in specific degree programs (see below) are guaranteed admission to corresponding bachelor's degree programs at Champlain College Online.
- Students will enter CCO with a guarantee of 60 transfer credits, but can transfer in up to 90 credits.
- Possibility of more transfer credits through evaluation of work experience, military trainings, or other alternative credit providers. Those interested in learning more should speak with our admission team.
Associate to Bachelor's Degree Programs
Several TCSG associate degree programs have been mapped to CCO bachelor's degree programs, see table below. This means 60 associate degree credits for these programs transfer. Any additional transferrable credits may apply. Please work with your TCSG advisor to confirm that your program is one of these pathways.
For other TCSG programs, Champlain will accept up to 90 transfer credits toward a bachelor's degree. TCSG students with any associate degrees should speak with a CCO Enrollment Coach to determine the bachelor's degree that will maximize their transfer credits.

If you do not see your TCSG degree program, we have a variety of options and generous transfer opportunities that have not yet been finalized. Please speak with your TCSG advisor regarding potential matches, our team will be happy to work with you and TCSG to determine a path forward to maximize your TCSG degree at Champlain College Online.
- Students who come to Champlain College Online with an associate degree automatically qualify for a preferred tuition rate. For the 2026-2027 academic year, tuition will be $297 per credit, or $891 for a three credit course.
- Champlain College Online offers students several ways to pay, including Federal Financial Aid and payment plans.
- Students interested in transferring from a TCSG college to Champlain College Online must have graduated with an associate degree with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Champlain College Online will recognize transfer credits already granted by TCSG for the associate degree with a grade of C or higher.
- Champlain College Online will also accept previous credits from AP exams, CLEP, and other exam sources that have been applied toward the completion of the TCSG associate degree
- TCSG students may need to complete additional general education coursework to meet CCO requirements
- Champlain College Online accepts previous credits earned through military occupation, training experience, and coursework that have been applied toward the completion of the TCSG associate degree
- TCSG students admitted to CCO through this agreement will receive a preferred tuition rate each term of their enrollment at CCO. There is no refund for any TCSG students already enrolled at CCO.
